We had to do a portrait for life drawing, and I found a neat high-contrast photograph of Patrick Stewart so I went with it. I really like the way it turned out, though my scanner butchered it a wee bit. Maybe I'll clean it up a bit one day and put that up, but not now.
Likeness is great work! Although I don't know why, but there's something about the dude's forehead in this picture that isn't quite Patrick-Stewart like x3 Maybe it's just a little roundish.
From what I remember, his eyes were a little smaller but eh, what would I know XD It looks like a few years have been taken off a present-day Stewart. And that's always uber cool! He's a graceful ager anyway XD
It's actually in my style to give people slightly larger eye. I think it's because I have fairly large eyes. So you've got me there.
As for his forehead, I do see what you mean and I agree complete. That was caused by the reference picture being cropped before that point on his head and my scanner not scanning that part properly. Were I to digitalize the drawing, I would most likely have it cut into the darkness before it got to that point.
And most people seemed to agree that I took a few years off of him. I've been noticing all my portraits save my self-portraits tend to make people closer to their twenties. Heh, I'm not sure if I need to fix that or not. I imagine that could be considered a perk.
Thanks for the comment, in any regard.

What's funny is that "-tan" is actually a cute way of using the "-chan" honorific. In the west it's typically used to denote a fan-created mascot, such as the big bosomed rendering of Windows XP.
Wonder if you knew that or not.
And thanks, bee tee doubl'ya.
