So one of the new insturctors at my school drew Batman professionally for DC comics.

And some other, less cool people, like Green Lantern. He also drew some Marvel stuff, I think Spider-man but I'm not sure.

Obviously this is super-amazing, and I am very pleased.

So hey, I'm planning on uploading all the stuff I did over the last year sometime next week hopefully maybe. So yeah, to all twelve of you who check my page every few months, you may find something new and interesting. Well...new to DA. It's all quite old and some of it probably won't even make the cut anymore.

Also I've been watching Wolverine and the X-men recently, and I have to admit I'm both pleased and impressed. Not only is it surprisingly good writing wise, but the animation quality is superb. And I don't just mean "When it's there". No. Because it's ALWAYS there. I can probably count the times there's been a complete hold on everything for more than a second on one hand. Hell, even in dialog scenes people are always moving around, changing camera angles or otherwise not just standing there with their mouths opening and closing haphazardly. No my friends, this is the good stuff kids go for.

Sadly, because it's the good stuff kids go for, it suffers from "Kids show syndrome" where every gun is a laser gun, Wolverines claws suffer a -20 on biological life-forms and you know if someone's clothing is dirty it's on now.

Seriously guys, you're not going to dramatize any kids if Wolverine bleeds every now and again. At least give us lead projectiles! Batman TAS got away with it!

The little CG they have is well integrated, and the art style is actually very appealing, though I dislike the character model for Charles Xavier, and everyone suffers from /my/ greatest flaw, which is making everyone look /too/ good and in their prime. Magneto looks younger than QuickSilver, and that's just awkward.

Ironically, despite all the censorship on the violence, there's more cleavage in this show than Bleach. And that's saying something.

So yeah, if you're looking for some good X-men action, writing, or drawn breasts on hot chicks with superpowers, this could be your next fix.
